How to Top Up Your SingTel Mobile# While in the Philippines

What if you urgently need to top up or buy credit for your SingTel mobile phone while roaming overseas and your family or friends are not available to buy you credit?

You can buy top up online via the internet.

But what if you don't have internet connection?

Then that's the problem. In my case, I was having a telephone interview when all of a sudden the call got disconnected and I know it's because my credit on my SingTel mobile has ran out. I texted some friends to buy credit for me in a shop by just giving my number and letting them send the credit to my phone but everyone is busy. Someone did buy a top up card and sent me the number and PIN but how to top up, I don't know. Neither my friend knows. The dialing of 96767777 doesn't work even if you add +65 before the numbers. So I had to look for internet connection and do a research. After half a day of reading and searching google, I finally decided to just stick on SingTel's website and there I finally found it. So I'm making it easier by duplicating the information I found at Singtel's website below:

The “sender” field in the SMS will show your hi!Card/hello!Mobile Card number.

Yes.
3. How do I know if my Hi!Card is topped up?
You will receive a notification message of your new balance once your card is topped up as follows:
"Your balance has been topped up. New balance $X, Expiry date dd/mm/yy. Thank you."
4. What if my Hi!Card is still not topped up after I have sent a roaming virtual top-up SMS to my friends or family members?
We will send a notification message to inform you that your hi!Card/hello!Mobile Card has not been topped up, within 24 hours after your Roaming Virtual Top-up SMS. You may send another Roaming Virtual Top-up SMS to the same recipient or to a different recipient.
5. Is there a limit to the number of roaming virtual top-up SMS that I can send?
You can send a maximum of 3 Roaming Virtual Top-up SMSes per day.
6. Can I use this service locally?
No, this service is available to hi!Card/hello!Mobile Card customers only when they are roaming overseas.
